Here you will be a crucial link between our customers' expectations and our delivery. You will work closely with customers, drivers and colleagues to ensure that the transports are carried out with high quality, efficiency and a sense of service - every day.
About the roles
As a transport manager with us, you will have great responsibility and influence in the daily operations. Together with your colleagues, you plan and optimize both our transports and the staffing of our drivers on our cars.
The work is varied, fast-paced and requires structure, problem-solving skills and good communication. No two days are the same - and that's part of the charm.
Your tasks
- Plan and manage the daily traffic of our domestic operations
- Ensure high delivery quality and good service to our customers
- Plan and optimize staffing and driver resources
- Optimizing vehicle utilization and transport flows
- Maintain contact with customers, drivers, colleagues and partners
- Manage anomalies and quickly find solutions in daily operations
Who we think you are
- Have solid experience in transport management, preferably with demanding goods such as temperate, ADR and GDP
- Has experience in scheduling, planning and managing drivers
- Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted business
- Is solution-oriented, responsible and structured
- Has good communication skills and likes to cooperate
- Is business-minded and understands the importance of high service and delivery precision
- Good computer skills and experience with TMS systems
- See advantages of sometimes working on the weekend and then having longer leaves
- It is also advantageous if you have driven a truck
