Quality from the start
Since Börje Jönsson founded the company in 1954 quality for the customer has been the company’s guiding principle.
Right from the very beginning, Börje understood the great advantage for customers in having direct contact with the people handling the transport.
Back then, as it often still is today, the most common way to arrange transportation was to hire a freight forwarding company, which would then subcontract a carrier.
Börje was among the first to carry out transportation without intermediaries.
This approach, combined with Börje’s unwavering commitment to quality, laid a solid foundation for growth.
International traffic especially grew rapidly in the late 1950s and became the company’s dominant focus throughout the 1960s. Börje never aimed for size for its own sake. Rather, the goal was to reach the scale necessary to meet customers’ demands, including the most complex and sensitive shipments.
Decades of experience have proven that Börje Jönsson’s original vision was spot on. Quality and full responsibility for delivery to the customer remain the key principles – then and now.
With over 70 years in business, the company still lives by the basic philosophy under the direction of Börje’s children and grandchildren.
