What sets us apart is our hard work. Over the years, we've transported everything from gold to bananas to satellites, crossing deserts and alpine peaks along the way. From the very beginning, we have focused on delivering at the highest level, without chasing quantity or competing on low prices. For us, it has always been about being the best, plain and simple.
Safety on the roads since 1954
The journey began in 1954, when Börje Jönsson bought his first truck and let quality take the wheel. From the start, we chose to operate without intermediaries so our customers could always have direct contact with the people actually performing the transport. It quickly became clear that quality and responsibility would remain a cornerstone for everything we do – a philosophy we’ve stuck to over the years. Since the beginning, our guiding principle has been:

From a small family business, we have grown into a leading provider of both domestic and international transport. We have always placed great emphasis on development and innovation, whether in terms of technology, environmental practices or employee care. Today, we are proud to carry the business forward into the third generation, with the same dedication to quality, sustainability and long-term relationships that we’ve had since the start.

A fleet in constant development
Since 2013, Börje Jönsson Åkeri has paved the way for a greener future by running our truck fleet on fossil-free HVO fuel. The journey towards greener transportation continued in 2019, when we introduced our first biogas trucks. In 2021, we expanded further with the first fully electric truck, which has now traveled over 500,000 miles.
Our fleet is clearly labeled with the fuel type each vehicle uses – HVO100, biogas or electricity – which clearly reflects our commitment to the environment. Thanks to our recurring investments in quality and working conditions – never compromising on fair wages or a safe workplace – we are proud to be recognized as one of the leading companies in our industry today.
